The sculptures, temporarily removed as part of the METRONET Byford Rail Extension Project, now take pride of place on the western side of the station, continuing their legacy as a vibrant and impactful landmark that holds a special place for the Armadale community.

The five tall, vividly coloured steel sculptures draw inspiration from the region’s forestry and rail history and can be appreciated individually or read as a collective story. Some pieces feature moving parts to engage the community and spark creativity.
