Want to be among the first to see the new C-series?
Get down to Yagan Square these April school holidays to get up close with the new METRONET railcar.
A life-sized model of the C-series, representing around two thirds of the carriage, will be on display from Saturday 3 April to Sunday 18 April between 9am and 5pm. Visitors can walk through the carriage and experience Perth’s next generation of trains.
Along with the railcar, a 1:50 scale model will be on display, and the kids can get involved with a scavenger hunt.
Register for your free VIP tickets to skip the queue at www.metronet.wa.gov.au/all-aboard.
Thursday mornings between 9am-10am are reserved for Quiet Hour, where the display will be low sensory to cater for those who prefer to experience the train in this environment. Register for quiet hour here.

About the Railcar program
The METRONET Railcar Program will deliver 246 new railcars to the network to meet the increased demand from METRONET projects and replace the ageing A-series, along with six diesel railcars to replace the Australind. The first trains are expected on the network in 2022.
