Join us for a spectacular celebration at the METRONET Bayswater Station Street Festival on Sunday, 21 April 2024.
The METRONET New Bayswater Station is now in the final stages of completion, connecting the Midland, Airport and Morley-Ellenbrook lines and providing easy access to Perth Airport, the Swan Valley tourist region and the CBD.
To celebrate, festivities for the whole family will be in full swing from 11am - 3pm with FREE live music, rides, fairy floss, face painting, showbags, giveaways and more, plus delicious food and drinks available for purchase. Explore the new Bayswater Station, the second largest on the network (after Perth City).

Rides and Amusement
There will be rides for the whole family to enjoy on the day, from a mini ferris wheel to the teacup ride and a trackless tram ride looping around the station. Look out for the roaming entertainment, from pink & grey galah stilt walkers, circus performers and musicians.
FREE Family Fun
Don't miss out on the free activities around the station. There will be several designated areas with live music, face painting, a giant bubble zone, sand art, nature crafts, a circus workshop... and FREE fairy floss!
Main Stage Entertainment
Sundays are for fun and relaxing, so we have the entertainment sorted. Musicians will be playing around the station and our main stage will showcase local groups and artists throughout the day.
Food Trucks
A range of food trucks will be parked around the station with delicious food options available for purchase. There will be a range of cuisines on offer.
Festival Road Closures Alert
To facilitate the festival in the station precinct on Sunday, 21 April 2024, the following streets will be temporarily closed between 8am and 6pm:
- Whatley Crescent between King William Street and Rose Avenue (full closure)
- Railway Parade between Rose Avenue and Drake Street (local traffic only for Rose Avenue Residents)
- Railway Parade between Coode Street and Rose Avenue (full closure).
