Over the past nine months, the project team has been seeking feedback from the community on Armadale and Byford stations and public space designs.
We have spoken to the Community Reference Group and Access and Inclusion Reference Group members, residents, schools and businesses near the rail corridor, and the general public.
Over 400 community members provided feedback via online surveys.
This feedback has helped shape designs with a focus on safety, access, connectivity, and the natural environment.
Public art has also been incorporated to reflect the areas’ local identity, native flora and fauna, and Aboriginal culture.
The new stations will feature modern, universally accessible designs and public safety features.
There will be extensive landscaping and public spaces.
