Mark your diaries, because the new METRONET Lakelands Station will open on Sunday 11 June!

The station will be a game-changer for people in Mandurah's northern suburbs with features including two platforms, bus interchange, 400-bay car park, and cycling facilities.  

A community celebration will mark the opening, including children’s entertainers, face painting, live music, giveaways, and a sausage sizzle.

Lakelands Station will take pressure off nearby Mandurah and Warnbro stations, and provide a journey time of 50 minutes to the CBD.

The project has supported approximately 200 jobs since commencement and will be the fifth METRONET project to be completed.
