Mandurah Multi-Storey Car Park tender released to market

  • 25 October 2019

The Mandurah Multi-Storey Car Park is a step closer following the release of the design and construct tender today.

The $32 million project which is jointly funded by the State Government ($16.1m) and the Commonwealth Government ($16m) will help ease the growing demand for access and parking at Mandurah Station and will boost overall capacity from approximately 1100 to about 1700 bays.

The final design will be determined once a contractor is appointed, but the structure is expected to be similar to the multi-storey car park which opened at Edgewater Station in 2017. The Public Transport Authority is currently investigating options to partially offset the parking temporarily lost during construction, by using adjoining land reserves. More information on temporary parking will become available as the project progresses.

For more information on the tender which closes on December 5 at 11am, see the Tenders WA website.
