Community feedback open for Queens Park and Cannington station designs and public spaces

  • 2 August 2023

As part of the METRONET Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project, we're excited to hear your thoughts on the station designs and public spaces for the new Queens Park and Cannington stations.

Detailed designs have been developed, inspired by themes of connection, safety, activation, movement and the natural environment, which were highlighted from community and stakeholder consultations. These designs have been refined to incorporate valuable input from local government, community reference groups, and the wider community.

The proposed features for the public spaces include lively activity zones, beautiful parkland with trees and spacious lawns, well-planned spaces for people of all ages and abilities, and interconnected paths for walking, cycling and scootering.

We’re now seeking your feedback on the station designs and public spaces.

The public comment period for the City of Canning section of the Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project closes at 5pm on 23 August.

Detailed designs for Beckenham Station and surrounding areas will be released in coming months, followed by another public comment period.
