Construction and supply chain companies looking to be part of the METRONET Bayswater Station Upgrade and Denny Avenue Level Crossing removal projects are invited to attend an Industry Briefing presentation and networking opportunity.
The February 26 briefing will provide an in-depth overview into how procurement for the two projects will occur. An update on other longer-term projects like the Morley-Ellenbrook Line, Midland, Byford, Karnup and other level crossing removal projects will also be provided.
Bayswater Station will be released to market as a competitive alliance contract, while Denny Avenue will be two design and construct contracts – one for rail works and one for road and civic works.
Business leaders who attend the briefing will have the chance to hear from Public Transport Authority and METRONET project directors about how protections for subcontractors, new industrial relations and training requirements, and the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy will feed into these projects.
They will also have an opportunity to informally network with other companies, local contractors and consultants and learn more about METRONET’s Gnarla Biddi Aboriginal Engagement Strategy.
