Construction and construction supply industries are invited to complete an online survey to help inform upcoming procurement activities for METRONET’s rail infrastructure delivery.
The 10-minute survey follows one initially conducted in December 2017 and seeks to update the Public Transport Authority’s understanding of industry’s capabilities and views on critical success factors to design, procure and deliver major transport infrastructure projects.
The survey closes on November 27, 2019 at 5pm.

METRONET Transport Infrastructure Procurement Updates
As the lead delivery agency for METRONET’s transport infrastructure, the Public Transport Authority is progressing procurement processes for a number of projects:
- Bayswater Station Upgrade: Main works is an alliance contract, with shortlisted proponents announced. Enabling works, such as the neighbouring station car park expansions, is currently out to market.
- Denny Avenue Level Crossing Removal: Rail design and construction package has been shortlisted. Road design and construction package has recently been shortlisted.
- Thornlie-Cockburn Link: Bundled alliance with the Yanchep Rail Extension. Shortlisted proponents have submitted bids and contract award is expected in late 2019.
