Information session for Kelmscott businesses

  • 27 July 2020

Calling all owner or operators of businesses in Kelmscott!

With the Denny Avenue Level Crossing Removal project works due to start in the coming months, the METRONET team would like to invite businesses in the area to attend an information session. The team will explain the project including progress and timelines, and what the project might mean for your business.

The level crossing on Denny Avenue is being permanently closed and a new underpass will be built on Davis Road. The project will also see upgrades to the Kelmscott Town Centre including significant changes to Albany Highway, Davis Road and Denny Avenue. We acknowledge that during construction it can be disruptive to the local business community. Significant work is done to ensure these impacts are minimised as much as possible, but some disruption is unavoidable.

The Small Business Development Corporation be there to share information on the support services available to help you prepare for potential disruptions during this time. They have many resources available on their website for small businesses affected by construction works and we encourage all local businesses to make use of these materials.

Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions, this event is capped at 65 attendees.
