Kelmscott road and access changes coming soon

  • 19 February 2020

The Kelmscott community are invited to drop-in to one of two information sessions about upcoming road changes in the Kelmscott town centre, as part of the Denny Avenue Level Crossing Removal  project.

The project will provide a new safe east-west connection under the existing rail line, improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and assist with the Kelmscott town centre revitalisation.

To do this a number of roads and access points around Kelmscott will change, including new signalised traffic lights and pedestrian crossings, widening and redesigning roads to slow traffic, rerouting traffic from Denny Avenue to Davis Road, and closing number of access driveways, where an alternative is available.

Detailed information and a comprehensive map on these changes can be found in the Road and Access Changes Fact Sheet.

We are hosting two information sessions for community members wanting to know more about the upcoming road changes and what’s happening with the project in 2020.
