The development application for the new METRONET Armadale Station is now open for people who use the station or visit the area to have their say.
The design sees the existing Armadale Station replaced with a new modern elevated station as part of the METRONET Byford Rail Extension Project, and will include three platforms and better connectivity between the town centre and station.
Incorporating feedback from the community provided during consultation earlier this year, the design prioritises safety through improved sight lines, increases tree canopy in the area and creates new and interesting public spaces for the community to enjoy.
The new Armadale Station will be one of seven new stations delivered along the Armadale Line as part of the METRONET Victoria Park Canning-Level Crossing Removal and Byford Rail Extension projects, which will also see 13 level crossings removed and 5.5 kilometres of elevated rail added.
Have your say on the development application before 27 July.
