While we design and then lay tracks for the future Morley-Ellenbrook Line, residents in Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, Aveley, Brabham and surrounding suburbs can get around with better public transport thanks to the new Henley Brook Bus Station
The station will operate from Sunday, November 3 and it is predicted 1,600 passengers will use it each day. The facility is designed to maximise passenger comfort and accessibility with ten bus stands, sheltered platforms, passenger toilets, connections to local shared paths, bike parking facilities, high-quality lighting, CCTV and a 300-bay car park.
The station will cater for the area’s current needs and play a big role getting passengers around before the opening of METRONET’s Morley-Ellenbrook Line.
Even after the Morley-Ellenbrook Line starts operating, this infrastructure will live on and be repurposed as a bus depot for the new feeder services that will support the new rail line.
