Bayswater Station upgrade

  • 4 April 2018

Bayswater Station will become a major transport hub with the Forrestfield-Airport Link and the proposed Morley-Ellenbrook rail line connecting to the Transperth network at that point.

To reflect its importance as an interchange station and heart of the Bayswater town centre, the station will undergo a major upgrade. Also additional rail infrastructure will be built between Bayswater and Meltham stations.

The early investigations into making sure Bayswater Station can operate with the future rail lines connecting here have set some very firm parameters for the upgrade. These are still subject to more detailed design and review.

The remaining station upgrade items that are yet to be confirmed include architecture, public spaces immediately next to the station, location and design of a potential bus interchange, parking needs and landscaping. More information can be found on our project fact sheet .

This is where we would like the community to have their say.

Our 10-minute online survey is an opportunity for you to share how you currently use Bayswater Station and the types of design influences you would like referenced in the station design.

You can also visit us at the Bayswater Projects Drop-in Session  where you can you speak to team members about the station upgrade, and other projects in the area such as the Forrestfield-Airport Link, Bayswater Bike Boulevard project and City of Bayswater’s Town Structure Plan.

Register to attend one of the two sessions:
