Claremont workers get a pizza the action

  • 29 March 2021

The Claremont Station Project is a multi-million dollar upgrade which will improve passenger experience, increase service frequency and allow direct access to the Forrestfield-Airport Link

Much of the extensive rail works need to be carried out at night which comes with its own unique challenges. An intensive 8-week period of 24/7 works facilitated the main rail works to help grow the network.

Recognising the efforts that go into the operation, contractor John Holland Group and the Public Transport Authority partered with local business The Swanbourne Pizza Lounge to host a pizza night to bring the team together.

Stuart, the owner of The Pizza Lounge said “we specialise in large orders and it is great knowing that we are putting on a feed for those crew members who are working around the clock to help develop our state”.
