Ballajura Station (formerly Malaga) to make a statement in the future town centre

  • 4 September 2021

Another step in the exciting future of the Morley-Ellenbrook Line has been taken with the design of Ballajura Station unveiled.

Designed to be a ‘station within a park’, it draws influence from the surrounding parklands in Whiteman Park, Lightning Park and the banksia bushlands.

The design includes intuitive wayfinding and shaded meeting points within an urban landscape setting to create a warm, safe and welcoming environment.

The first building in the future town centre, the station features striking architecture and an open ‘veranda’ style entrance.

Along with the designs, we’re developing a precinct structure plan for Ballajura Station, to set the vision and roadmap for the future area around Ball Station for the next 30 years.

To do this, we’re seeking your feedback to know what’s important to you about the community nearby the new Ballajura Station.

Have your say by filling in a quick survey and make sure you come visit the team at our community pop-up!
