A refreshed METRONET brand has been introduced and will be added to Perth’s metropolitan train network for the long term.

METRONET is the single largest investment in public transport infrastructure in the State’s history. Given this investment and the significant rail expansion on the horizon, the METRONET brand will transition from old to new over time. 

Recently completed projects include Bayswater Station and the Yanchep Rail Extension. The Byford Rail Extension, Thornlie-Cockburn Link and Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project are planned for completion in 2025.
