Students dig rail alignment along Morley-Ellenbrook Line

  • 13 October 2022

Ground breaks at Ellenbrook Christian College for the METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook Line Project.

Students helped the Premier and Minister for Transport dig part of the train line’s new alignment between the school buildings and oval, south of the new Ellenbrook Station.

A new pedestrian underpass will provide safe access for students and staff between the college and oval.

The State Government has been working closely with the college during the planning and development phase of the project, as well as funding a new $2.8 million sport and recreation pavilion on the western side of the rail line.

Five new stations along the Morley-Ellenbrook Line will service Perth's north-eastern suburbs, providing improved transport connections to existing communities and creating new communities through integrated station precincts.
