More housing options near Morley-Ellenbrook Line

  • 21 March 2020

New housing options near the Morley-Ellenbrook Line are now available with the release of the first lots at Brabham estate.

The first 15 lots have hit the market at the estate, providing an affordable option for families wanting to live close to public transport with the new Whiteman Park Station nearby.

The State Government’s land development agencies, the Department of Communities and Development WA, are collaborating with Peet and Perron Group to develop the estate, which once completed will cater for a community of up to 8,000. Around 80% of the lots in the estate will be sold below the Perth median sales price.

The development supports the METRONET Social and Affordable Housing and Jobs Package, which delivers inclusive and connected communities in areas near METRONET projects.

The Morley-Ellenbrook Line will take passengers from Ellenbrook’s growing town centre and surrounding communities, along Drumpellier Drive (formerly New Lord Street), through land north of Marshall Road before running down the middle of Tonkin Highway and connecting to the Midland Line at Bayswater. Stations will be built at Ellenbrook, Whiteman Park, Ballajura, Noranda and Morley, with allowance for a future station at Bennett Springs East also accommodated in the design.
