Train frequency confirmed and bus service consultation to open for new Airport Line

  • 19 October 2021

Planning of the connecting services on the METRONET Forrestfield-Airport Link – to be called the Airport Line when it opens in the first half of 2022 – is well underway.

Trains on the Airport Line will operate on a 12-minute frequency during peak periods, with the first weekday service departing Perth Station at 5:12am, arriving at Airport Central Station at 5:30am.

The community are invited to provide feedback on the new bus network which will be introduced to connect local suburbs to Redcliffe and High Wycombe stations, with new routes added and some existing routes changed.

Have your say on the bus network changes here. Community consultation closes on Friday 19 November at 4pm.

Updated timetables for all services will be available next year.
