In August this year, the McGowan Government confirmed the general route and station locations for the Morley-Ellenbrook Line.
Following this, many of you visited our information sessions to speak with the team about the project, and 687 of you completed our online survey and gave your feedback on priorities for the stations and the areas around them.
Thank you to everyone who visited our information sessions or completed the survey. Your feedback helps us gain community insights into your local area and understand what you’d like to see in and around your stations. This helps us with both station concept design and place plans for the areas around the stations, both of which will be completed by mid-2020.
Some of the key findings include:
- Having safe and functional stations was the most important requirement for all five stations on the MorleyEllenbrook Line.
- Of the 687 community members who completed the survey, nearly half live close to Ellenbrook Station.
- More than a third of you loved the convenience of your suburb as it’s close to the places you want to go.
- Nearly half of you said you wished you had more public transport, followed by shops, cafes, cinemas and swimming pools.
A summary of the key findings is available in our survey summary.
