The easing of congestion, saving time and increased safety are what excites the community most when it comes to the removal of up to six level crossings on the Inner Armadale Line.

The new METRONET C-Series trains will have a distinctly local flavour with Bassendean company Hofmann Engineering being appointed by Alstom to manufacture the bogie frames for the trains.
